GAMSAT is conducted by ACER on behalf of several consortia of Universities.

GAMSAT must be taken in September in the UK by candidates interested in being accepted as postgraduates into St George’s Hospital Medical School in London, into the University of Nottingham at Derby Medical School, into the University of Wales Swansea Medical School and into the Medical School at Keele University Staffordshire and as entrants into the Peninsular Medical and Dental Schools, Devon.

The first GAMSAT UK was held in 2000. However, GAMSAT “past papers” are not available. More than 3000 candidates sit for the UK version of GAMSAT each year.

Candidates who live outside the EU, even if they hold an EU or a UK passport, are not considered eligible for entry to most EU and UK Medical Schools because candidates need to have completed three years of residency in Europe (including UK) immediately prior to the start of the course.

Alternatively, phone us on international +617 3366 2720. Nonetheless, be aware that Eastern Australia is 10 or 11 hours ahead of UK time (depending on daylight saving in one place or the other). It is best to ring soon after 11 pm UK time or about 6 pm (Eastern USA) to 3 pm (Western USA) to reach us during office hours.
